# Ability to have more compact Summary section Portal page

I would like to see a way to have the Summary section on a Portal page be much more compact than is currently possible. I have a page with a number of summary items and despite setting the size to “Short”, the Summary section takes a considerable amount of space on the page (see attached screen shot). It would be great to have a much more compact format as an option (or even a show/hide mechanism for the Summary).

Hi Phillip,

Thank you for your suggestion! At the moment, the “Short” **Summary Fields Height** setting will display one line of data. Each higher setting will increase what’s shown by one line.

I will forward your request for a more compact layout and a show/hide mechanism to our engineering team now for consideration for a future release!

I’ll keep you posted on any updates through this thread.
