# Hide Attachment File name and Link

It would be great if the file name of the attachment used as a thumbnail in a gallery view could be hidden. The use case would be uploading images where the file name does not matter and does not need to be viewed

Hi @tyronecash. Welcome to miniExtensions forum. In this case, you can remove the attachment field in the Customer Fields for Layout.

Hi @Abdul. I would like the keep the Attachment (in my case the image). I would like to hide the text underneath the image (the file name and the airtable URL)

Hi @tyronecash. You can use a thumbnail even if the attachment field is not included in the Custom Fields for Layout. You can check this screenshot.
