Browser Tab Labels

The browser tab inherits the name of portal at the login screen, but changes to “miniExtensions” once the user is logged in. Haven’t had a chance to test it on Windows, but this is the behavior in Chrome and Safari on MacOS. Is it possible to use the portal name to label the tab after the user logs in? This will help users navigate among multiple tabs.

Hi Darryl,

The page title shown in the browser tab is currently determined by the Portal Header Title setting. When this is set to Logo “miniExtensions” will be shown. I do agree with you that there should be a way to set this independently from the logo though, so I will forward this to our engineering team now for consideration for a future release! I will post any updates on this here.

I have good news for you! You can now set the page title shown in your browser tab separately from the header title!

You can do so in the Header & Profile section of your portal’s settings:
