Hello,I would like to send pdf (each new record)from airtable to chatgpt and extract some text(always the same prompt) to receive it from chatgpt in a table in return.
Is it possible directly without zapier or Make?
Hey @denis , we have a couple of automations that can help you with that:
- Extract Text From PDFs: This simply grabs all text from the PDF and outputs it into a long text field. You can then run our Analyze and Modify Airtable Data using the GPT Model automation to work with the data using GPT.
- Analyze Airtable Attachments with GPT Assistants: This automation can receive the PDF file as an input directly and process the data according to your prompt. It’s all in one step, but a little bit more difficult to set up to get started.

Hey @denis , yes, you can try all of these out on the free plan! They will be limited to processing only one record at a time and up to 100 records per day. To remove these limitations you’d have to sign up for the Lite plan (or higher).
