2FA for Login to Miniextensions

It would be a great security feature to include 2FA authentication with an authenticator app (or with email) for logging in to miniextensions.com.

Hi @silisols. We have a feature available that allows you to send a verification code to an email address for the purpose of OTP (One-Time Password) verification. You can find detailed instructions on how to set it up in this article: How to let portal/form users log in without a password? | miniExtensions for Airtable.

If you have any further questions or need assistance with anything else, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’re here to help!

Hi @Abdul

Thanks for such a prompt reply. I was referring to logging in to the miniextensions.com website rather than the portal - which is a great feature, btw.

Such a nice change to have a working forum and customer service reps who actually respond on time. :+1:

Hi @silisols. Thank you for the clarification. At the moment, we have single sign-on capability using Google. This can serve as 2FA since you need to sign in first using your Google account.

Hi @Abdul

I realise using SSO is commonplace now. However, we are not comfortable with using a third party service to sign in to our accounts. I hope the developers consider implementing this.

Thanks for the suggestion though. :+1:
