Hi Team! Thanks for the Tab Navigation for Multi Page Forms. Looks great. Some feedback on UI
1. I realized that the save button only appears at the last tab/page. Problem is - when editing a record, Sometimes users may only want to edit only a specific tab’s fields and then save. Or they may get confused on where the save button is.
Instead of the an additional step to navigate to the last tab to save, Can we have the option to show/hide the save button on every tab this provides better flexibility when form is needed for different use cases
2. Better wrapping of buttons when in mobile mode. for the tabs in mobile (Overflow x) can we wrap/overflow into the next line instead of a horizontal scroll on mobile?
3. This is a really powerful feature as it helps organize the forms and makes it really clean. The past ui like bullet and expandable sections is actually very useful too depending on use case. can we have Flexibility to display sections/multi page between Tabs/Bullets and Expandable sections - will be great More options for displaying Multi page/sections on forms.
Hi @JamieZ. Apologies for the delayed response. To address this use case, you can enable Compute Mode in the form, which will automatically create or update the record when navigating to the next page, eliminating the need for a separate save button.
I have created a ticket for your other two requests. We will keep you updated on the progress through this channel. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know.
@Abdul - Thanks Team for Compute mode! that solves the save button!
One request is that can we make the tabs clickable to navigate to the next page? like how we would with a menu bar? this saves the user needing to scroll down all the way to the form and keep clicking next to reach page 3 for the form example.
Hello @JamieZ. We appreciate your input. However, it’s important to note that this behavior aligns with the intended functionality of the multipage feature, as field validations are executed on a per-page basis.
Hi @JamieZ. We apologize for not previously informing you that the multi-page header wrapping was already in place. Thank you for your feedback, and if you have any further questions or require assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
