It would be great if the file name of the attachment used as a thumbnail in a gallery view could be hidden. The use case would be uploading images where the file name does not matter and does not need to be viewed

Hi @tyronecash. You can use a thumbnail even if the attachment field is not included in the Custom Fields for Layout. You can check this screenshot.
