Release November 6, 2024: Portal Performance Improvements

Dear miniExtensions Community,

We are excited to announce a brand new set of updates to our platform! This release is mainly focused on smaller, behind-the-scenes changes and bug fixes! You can find a list of changes listed below.

We have tested this release extensively and are expecting a smooth rollout. However, if you do run into any issues, especially serious ones that need to be fixed urgently, please let us know through the chat icon in the bottom right corner to receive help as quickly as possible!

If you have any questions, would like to discuss this release or provide feedback, please feel free to do so below.

Of course we are still working on fixes for any previously reported issues that haven’t made it into this release. Please bear with us as we squash those bugs as well!

Changelog

  • Portal performance has been improved for larger views.

  • Opening records in the side panel is now the default for new list views in portals and shared views.

  • The first record is no longer opened by default when using the side panel view in portals and shared views.

  • We’ve added a direct link to the workspace settings in the profile menu across our platform.

  • Several bug fixes. As always, we will notify affected users directly.

Some users were experiencing this issue yesterday, but it should be resolved by now. Are you still experiencing this right now?

Hi Hannes - there was a release update today, was that something new or is it the above fix?

Hey there, yesterday’s update was just a quick fix for a small issue. The issue @accounts had mentioned above had been fixed several days ago.

We will post any larger releases here along with a list of changes!
