We have tested this release extensively and are expecting a smooth rollout. However, if you do run into any issues, especially serious ones that need to be fixed urgently, please let us know through the chat icon in the bottom right corner to receive help as quickly as possible!

Of course we are still working on fixes for any previously reported issues that haven’t made it into this release. Please bear with us as we squash those bugs as well!

Changelog
  • Formula, and other computed fields are now updated in real time when using inline editing! This has been a much-requested feature and should be a nice improvement for a lot of you. As soon as the record is updated using inline editing, all computed fields will be updated to reflect any changes.

  • New automation: Convert HTML to PDF on Airtable. With this automation, you can generate PDFs from your Airtable with a lot of customization options! You can use HTML code to style the output and generate a PDF to your exact specifications!

  • New automation: Convert URL to PDF on Airtable. This automation generates a PDF from a URL in your Airtable base. This can be super useful to gather a snapshot of a site for printing or simply for future reference.

  • Views on Portals and Shared Views can now be shown as a submenu under the table name in the header, instead of each being a separate button. This is similar to how the menu item group works.

  • Portal/Shared View tables with an invalid configuration (i.e. missing required settings) are now highlighted to alert the user.

  • When creating a new Portal, we will now preselect a Users Table for you based on some common keywords. Of course you can still select a different table, but this should speed things up a bit.

  • When creating a new Portal, we will now add all tables that are linked in the Users Table by default. You can remove any unwanted tables during the creation process, or at any time from the configuration page.

  • Several bug fixes. As always, we will notify affected users directly.
