I have a table in my portal that has a linked field to another table. In the edit form, I set the Single Records/Multiple Records in the Advanced section to Single and that works fine on the form as usual. However, if I enable inline editing, then I can put multiple linked records into the field, even though technically, this is not allowed.
I understand that inline editing does not support validation, however, I think that not to honour the Single/Multiple setting should be considered a bug. I am unable to use inline editing for this table as a result of this currently.

Hi Phillip, this issue should now be resolved. Inline editing now follows the “allow users to select” setting in the child form. Please have another go and let me know if you still run into any unexpected behavior!
